I was decompensating fast due to medication withdrawal and Trump Derangement Syndrome so this album stands as snapshot of a very weird and troubling time. Experimental but still pop-oriented, it holds together with tooth picks and bubble gum. It's shambolic, ambitious, hallucinatory and shameless. Maybe a bastard son of Magical Mystery Tour.
"ALL YOU NEED IS WEED" was written and recorded quickly in 2017, just as it was becoming apparent that weed would be not only decriminalized but legalized, thus opening up a Pandora's box for all of society to contend with.
"PIECE OF MEAT" was written in early January 2017. The technique was starting with iPhone demo with acoustic guitar and just building until ending with a full-on Phil Spectoresque Wall of Clowns.
